ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Install firestop systems (e.g caulking, sealants, wraps, collars, putty pads) in accordance with UL systems and manufactuer specifications Identify and seal penetrations created by plumbing trade Maintain accurate documentation of installed systems for inspection and compliance Ensure all work meets fire safety codes, building regulations, and project standards

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Experience with firestopping (preferred) Familiarity with Hilti, STI, 3M or other firestop systems Able to follow instructions Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers Friendly with a great deal of patience Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate

PPE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted Physically fit with the ability to work in awkward spaces Alert, focused, and detail-oriented Ability to crouch, bend, and sit Able to stand for long periods of time

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must own basic tools of the trade Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Must have reliable transportation Willingness to travel Must have a smart phone (required)
