Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring projects progress smoothly and safely. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship on a variety of construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to impactful projects. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials, equipment, and supplies safely across the site Support carpenters, masons, and other trades by handling tasks such as framing, formwork construction, and drywall installation Operate power tools and hand tools for tasks like concrete cutting, finishing, and rebar installation Mix concrete using concrete mixers, pour concrete into forms, and perform finishing work such as smoothing surfaces and applying caulking or stucco Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprint specifications and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation techniques Experience with heavy equipment operation and the use of various hand tools and power tools Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol standards Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb scaffolding, and work in various weather conditions Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in renovation, restoration, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, trim carpentry, stucco application, caulking, framing carpentry Join our team if you're eager to build a career in construction while gaining hands-on experience across multiple trades!
