Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform manual labor and excavation outdoors in a variety of weather conditions using tools such as shovels, picks, and rock bars; Assist with laying conduit for fiberoptic cable; Work around heavy equipment (excavators, hydrovacs, boring machines, etc.) and perform duties to support the Heavy Equipment Operators; Take directions from the site supervisor and team leads and efficiently execute work requested; Load materials and perform site set-up and clean-up; Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the job site; Follow all project policies and procedures in a safe, efficient, and effective manner; May need to safely and correctly direct multi-directional traffic with appropriate signage; Keep alert and aware of surroundings and working hazards, wearing hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, approved safety footwear, and seat belt.
