This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge. As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a key role in supporting skilled tradespeople, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to high-quality craftsmanship on every project. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop your construction expertise, this position is perfect for you! Duties Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring all areas are safe and organized for work activities. Operate hand tools, and power tools, safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing. Support the installation of rebar, formwork construction, and concrete pouring to create durable foundations and structures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to follow construction plans accurately. Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site. Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, building retaining wall and installing underground pipe Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction are advantageous. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of concrete forming, concrete cutting, concrete finishing, and concrete pumping techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and commercial driving when applicable. Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions; comfort with working at heights or in confined spaces is a plus.
