Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape & Construction Laborer and be at the forefront of transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, functional environments! You'll play a vital part in creating beautiful landscapes, maintaining grounds, and assisting with various construction projects. Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting, hardscaping, and site preparation using hand tools and power equipment Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and weed control to keep outdoor areas pristine Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, excavators, and irrigation systems with safety protocol adherence Support irrigation system installation and repairs; identify plant health issues through plant identification skills and apply appropriate horticultural practices Conduct groundskeeping duties like snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access year-round Help with tree trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety Maintain safety standards by following all safety protocols during outdoor work activities and operating machinery responsibly Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge for operating power tools, lawn care equipment, and irrigation systems Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, gardening, planting, and pesticide management Ability to identify various plants and troubleshoot horticultural issues effectively Experience with hardscape installation such as patios or walkways is a plus Knowledge of safety procedures related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments Valid experience operating heavy machinery like excavators or snow plows is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Drivers License Required Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help shape beautiful outdoor environments!
