Assist with construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, and masonry work. Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support accurate installation. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required on construction sites. Support concrete forming, stucco application, tile laying, and metal stud framing activities. Aid in restoration projects by preparing surfaces, caulking joints, and trimming structures. Follow safety protocols at all times while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Skills Experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading to understand project scope. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise work execution. Knowledge of roofing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and welding techniques. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and heavy lifting practices. Ability to perform metal stud framing, tile laying, stucco application, and concrete forming tasks. Handyman experience with restoration work or remodeling projects is a plus. Strong physical stamina for demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
