Responsibilities Assist with demolition activities including removal of debris, damaged structures, and hazardous materials using hand tools and power tools. Support water damage and flood restoration projects by performing cleaning, drying, and mold remediation tasks following established protocols. Prepare sites for restoration work by cleaning surfaces and ensuring a safe environment for subsequent operations. Operate company vehicles and equipment safely in compliance with all safety protocols and traffic laws. Follow strict safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and adherence to asbestos abatement standards when necessary. Respond promptly to emergency calls for fire or water-related incidents, providing on-call coverage as needed to support urgent restoration efforts. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed using industry-standard tools such as Xactimate for estimating and reporting purposes. Experience Prior construction experience or hands-on work in demolition or restoration industries is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles safely and effectively. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, mold remediation procedures, and asbestos abatement practices. Experience with water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire restoration, or mold remediation projects is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members during stressful situations. Familiarity with industry-specific software such as Xactimate is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work on-call shifts for emergency response situations and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. $18.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 39.0 per week
