You will play an essential role on our field operations team by executing critical civil construction tasks across dynamic job sites. This entry-level opportunity provides paid apprenticeship training and competitive travel perks to kickstart a rewarding career in heavy commercial construction. You will build foundational trade skills while contributing directly to high-impact regional infrastructure projects. How You Will Make an
Impact:
Perform daily physical labor tasks to support commercial civil and heavy construction operations. Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely to complete site preparation work. Dig trenches, install silt fencing, and lay sod to ensure proper site erosion control. Apply seed, straw, and protective matting to complete surface landscaping requirements. Maintain clean, safe job sites and street areas by clearing debris and waste materials. Assist skilled trade workers and follow crew instructions to meet project deadlines. Practice strict safety procedures while traveling to regional project locations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Willingness to travel up to 70% of working hours for project assignments (transportation provided). Ability to perform physically demanding labor in varying outdoor weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a desire to learn on the job. Ability to follow safety directives and collaborate effectively within a team crew. Must be able to pass a drug test
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous exposure or familiarity with heavy construction hand and power tools. Prior experience in commercial ground maintenance, landscaping, or site clearing. Desire to grow and learn with the company long-term
