Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing construction tasks efficiently and safely, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help drive our projects forward, making a tangible impact in communities and spaces around you. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to support accurate execution of tasks like rebar installation, framing, masonry, and tile laying Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as carrying materials, installing rebar, or moving equipment to keep projects on schedule Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and stucco application to ensure durable and visually appealing results Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Assist with renovation projects by performing carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, and restoration work Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a construction workplace environment is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scope and requirements Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, concrete cutting, finishing techniques, and the use of concrete mixers is desirable Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and masonry techniques Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions for extended periods Experience with flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, plastering or renovation projects is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your skills build more than structures — they build communities!
