Excavation Laborer
•Heavy Civil Construction A reputable Heavy Civil Earth Work Construction Company is seeking a qualified Excavation Laborer with experience in underground in site work. This is a full-time position for a motivated individual with 3-5 years in heavy civil construction with expertise in underground site work. This position will entail various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Assisting with construction tasks such as setting up and cleaning job sites, including loading and uploading materials. Operate hand tools and power tools and maintain the tools. Performing manual labor (digging, lifting, trenching, backfilling). Maintaining a clean and organized work site (removing hazards, materials, and debris) to promote safety. Comply with all safety regulations and protocols on the job site. Collaborate with team members to ensure completion of the project's completion.
Requirements :
3-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, specifically underground utility work. Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, perform strenuous tasks, and work in various weather conditions. Knowledge and experience setting curb, finishing concrete and mechanical ability. Knowledge of construction tools and equipment. Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and communicate effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to safety, especially in trenches and confined spaces.
Valid certifications:
OSHA 10 and a valid driver's license And clean record. Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test. Strong skills in reading blueprints, elevations, and specifications. Must pass Drug testing. Willingness to learn new skills.
