Responsibilities Assist in the installation of hardscape elements such as pavers, stonework, and retaining walls using hand tools and power tools. Interpret and follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of landscape features. Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and material transportation to support project needs. Install building materials including drywall, stucco, trim carpentry, cabinetry, flooring, and window or door units with attention to detail. Perform site inspections to ensure construction quality aligns with safety protocols and project specifications. Conduct demolition, remodeling, and renovation tasks as needed to prepare sites for new landscape features. Collaborate with team members on concrete forming, plastering, caulking, fabrication, and light low voltage electrical and irrigation plumbing installations related to outdoor projects. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on outdoor environments, planting, carpentry, welding and hardscaping projects. Driving safely is key, experience driving a truck and van is required, clean driving record and background checks will be required. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Skilled in operating power tools, hand tools, shop tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of building construction techniques related to urban and outdoor locations. Familiarity with safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards during all phases of construction work. Strong outdoor work ethic with the ability to handle physical demands of the job across various weather conditions.
