Job Description
Landscape Construction Crew Member Pine Coast Landscape is a quality focused, full scope design and build company serving southern Maine and the New Hampshire seacoast. A reputable and established firm, we are looking for a skilled craftsman with a background in landscape construction to join our team and continue to grow with us. The ideal candidate is passionate about, and committed to the trade while seeking to improve their skills and knowledge within the field. We are seeking an employee who is accountable and professional, will work efficiently, follow instructions, and use common sense. This position is for someone who enjoys working outdoors and as part of a team to create something to be proud of. Qualifications Minimum of two years experience in landscape construction (preferred) Knowledge and ability to work with and fabricate natural stone Working knowledge of plant materials and cultural requirements (preferred) or ability to learn Ability to lift of 75 lbs. Driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to acquire DOT medical safety card Ability to work variable hours (typically 7am-5pm M-Fri.) Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions Experience operating heavy equipment (mini excavator, skid steer & tractor) a plus Professional references required Salaries will commensurate with experience Responsibilities Assist with layout, base preparation and installation of boulder walls, dry-laid, wet and veneered walls, natural stone walkways, patios and aprons, plantings, low voltage landscape lighting, etc. Assist in spring and fall clean ups, to include leaf clean up, edging, mulching, structural pruning of trees and shrubs, etc. Ability to operate trucks and trailers effectively Occasionally work on maintenance accounts, i.e. weeding, deadheading, watering, etc. Primary responsibilities will revolve around installation projects.
