Responsibilities Assist in the installation of hardscape elements including pavers, stonework, brickwork, and concrete features according to project plans and specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to prepare sites and execute construction tasks Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate placement of materials and structures Support the preparation of work sites by excavating, leveling, and setting forms for concrete pours or stone placement Collaborate with team members on site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures Manage building materials by measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing components such as tiles, bricks, or trim carpentry elements Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency throughout each project phase Skills Construction experience with a focus on hardscaping projects or outdoor construction sites Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints (including Bluebeam files), and construction plans accurately Knowledge of building material installation including tile laying, drywall, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, cabinetry, and window or door installation Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes Electrical experience or plumbing knowledge is a plus for integrated outdoor systems Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards during all phases of construction Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on remodeling or new construction projects This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in construction while working on impactful outdoor projects.
