Key Qualifications:

Valid MI School Social Worker (SSW) License 310 Certification (required) Michigan Educator Certification All credentials must be active (no pending certifications) Experience working in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level, is strongly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver social work services to elementary students to support both academic and emotional development Conduct assessments and develop strategies that address social, behavioral, and academic challenges Collaborate with faculty, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized plans Serve as a liaison among students, families, school personnel, and community resources Document services and maintain student records in compliance with regulations Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and group interventions as needed
