Your efforts will help facilitate remodeling projects, hardscaping construction, and building renovations while ensuring safety and adherence to industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, operate heavy equipment, and contribute to impactful demolition and cleanup projects. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport junk, debris, and construction materials using hand tools and power tools. Assist with demolition tasks including tearing down structures, removing old fixtures, and preparing sites for new construction or renovation work. Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers or forklifts in compliance with safety protocols. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to understand project scope and specific removal or demolition requirements. Use hand tools for carpentry tasks like trim carpentry, cabinet installation, drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and flooring or tile laying. Support hardscaping projects by removing existing hardscape elements like pavers or concrete while maintaining safety standards. Follow all safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment on outdoor construction sites. Assist with the installation of building materials including windows, cabinetry, flooring, and electrical or plumbing fixtures as needed. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by properly disposing of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations. Experience Prior construction site experience with exposure to building construction, remodeling, or demolition projects is highly preferred. Familiarity with construction management practices including interpreting technical drawings and adhering to safety protocols. Hands-on experience operating power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools used in demolition and material installation. Knowledge of various trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), drywall installation, plastering, caulking, electrical work, plumbing, and tile laying. Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions is advantageous. Ability to follow detailed instructions from construction plans and technical drawings accurately. Strong commitment to safety standards with the ability to identify hazards proactively.
