In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks essential to the successful completion of construction projects. From site preparation to finishing touches, your hands-on work will be instrumental in creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials Support concrete pouring, mixing, and finishing activities to create durable foundations and surfaces Install rebar and formwork according to blueprint specifications to reinforce concrete structures Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute tasks like masonry, framing, or roofing Perform heavy lifting and material transport safely across the site while adhering to safety regulations Support installation of flooring, tile laying, stucco, plastering, caulking, and other finishing work as needed Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to ensure a secure environment for everyone on site Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in related trades such as carpentry or masonry is highly desirable Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is preferred Knowledge of construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans enhances your effectiveness on site Hands-on experience with concrete forming, concrete cutting, concrete pumping, and concrete finishing techniques is a plus Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment like concrete mixers or scaffolding safely Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations ensures compliance and promotes a safe working environment Experience with renovation projects or restoration work demonstrates versatility in handling diverse construction tasks Join us in building something great!
