Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Your hands-on skills and knowledge of construction processes will contribute directly to the successful delivery of diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in various construction trades while working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, and debris safely Operate hand tools and power tools for tasks like cutting, drilling, and assembling structural components Assist with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Install rebar, metal studs, drywall, flooring, tile, stucco, and other building materials according to project specifications Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Experience with construction estimating processes and understanding project scopes Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or specifications Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and formwork techniques Familiarity with masonry, roofing, drywall installation, plastering, caulking, restoration work, and heavy lifting procedures Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Experience working on diverse construction projects including renovation or new builds Ability to interpret construction plans accurately for proper execution of tasks Skills in metal stud framing, tile laying, flooring installation, masonry work, rebar installation, concrete pumping or concrete finishing techniques This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow their skills in the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects. Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
