Job description Road Crew Worker - Corrective Asphalt Materials LLC, a leader in pavement preservation, is currently interviewing for experienced Laborers to join our crews. We have an immediate need for a Laborer. CAM is focused on building long standing relationships with all of our customers while providing outstanding products and services to extend the life of their roadways. We take pride in our process with ongoing training and maintaining our fleet of late model trucks and equipment. We focus on open communication and strive to provide all our employees the tools to succeed. We continue to grow year over year and have new positions available for immediate long-term seasonal positions. The majority of our workload consists of road surface treatments throughout the Midwest and travel is required during peak season . We do not use these surveys to make hiring decisions, but to better understand candidate's needs in the workplace: https://assessment.predictiveindex.com/CP73/be4a0487-21c5-4558-b048-03e9a03e81dd?type=candidateba Responsibilities Report directly to Superintendent Prevent pedestrian and vehicular incidents throughout the season Uphold CAM standards for traffic control Maintain inventories for all equipment transported by Isuzu Reduce return trips by ensuring all hand spraying is done accurately and equipment is retrieved Deliver notifications to residents and install no parking signs prior to beginning roadwork Flexible in daily assignments as our work is weather dependent Skills Experience in road construction is preferred. Must have valid Driver's License. Knowledge of roadways and traffic safety Able to work in a team Able to read maps and document effectively Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) Good balance and hand eye coordination High school diploma or equivalent
