This position is responsible for the installation of water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems on heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in trenches, setting pipe to grade, and safely installing underground utilities. Responsibilities Install underground water, sewer, and storm drainpipe in accordance with project specifications and grade requirements Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in construction or related industry preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
