This individual will lead reconstruction projects following water, fire, mold, and other property damage losses. The Crew Leader is responsible for performing quality construction work while leading and training crew members, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to the approved scope of work. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service during difficult times. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crew members on residential and commercial restoration projects. Perform and oversee drywall installation and repair, texture matching, painting, trim, baseboard installation, cabinet installation, flooring, finish carpentry, and general reconstruction work. Read and follow the approved scope of work and ensure all work is completed accurately. Train and mentor crew members on proper construction techniques, safety practices, and company standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout every phase of the project. Communicate project progress, concerns, and material needs with the Project Manager or Supervisor. Ensure quality workmanship that meets DCR standards and customer expectations. Properly use, maintain, and secure company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Document completed work and notify management of any changes or unforeseen conditions. Represent Disaster Clean-up & Restoration professionally while interacting with customers, subcontractors, and other trades. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in residential or commercial construction, restoration, or remodeling. Strong knowledge of drywall, painting, trim, cabinetry, flooring, finish carpentry, and general reconstruction practices. Ability to read and follow scopes of work and construction plans. Experience leading or mentoring construction crews preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely. Preferred Skills Experience in the insurance restoration industry. Experience working with water, fire, or mold reconstruction projects. Knowledge of OSHA safety practices. IICRC certifications are a plus but not required. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Leads by example.
