We are seeking reliable general laborers to join our team. We are looking for someone with a positive and optimistic attitude who is self-motivated and self-directed to help our construction crew. The candidate must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, solve practical problems and work in a team setting. In this position, you will complete a variety of construction tasks.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.

Responsibilities Include:

• Load and unload supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Assist with the operation of heavy machinery including forklifts, skid loaders and other equipment as directed by management.
• Complete many different construction tasks, including drilling, painting, erecting scaffolding, installing door hardware, minor carpentry duties, and moving materials from one place to another to name a few.
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging footings.
• Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Travel out of town to work on remote job sites when projects require it.
• Operate 3500 fitted work truck, 3500 dump truck, 2500 and 1500 work trucks.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Being dependable, arriving on time for scheduled departures.

Education/ Background:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License. Clean Driving Record.

Other Qualifications:

Must be able to travel as needed within the state of NC.
