Job Description
We are looking for a qualified general laborer to help us flip residential homes! This job entails working on multiple job sites in southern central New Hampshire with a team to construct and complete various stages of construction of single-family residential homes. A good applicant is someone who; shows up on time for work every day, has a good attitude, is a good team player, is task-driven, energetic, coachable, self-motivated, and enthusiastic ! Also, the individual should have great hand coordination and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have experience with installing wood flooring, repairing and installing new cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, decks, as well as some experience with rough framing, drywall, painting, siding repair and other related tasks needed to make a home complete, functional, and beautiful. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction of strong and long-lasting custom residential homes. Responsibilities Install interior trim for windows, doors, staircases, and frame decks by using raw materials or pre-constructed items Install cabinets and/or countertops according to plans Layout flooring, ensuring they are leveled and compatible Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance Complete any necessary demolition of walls, kitchens, and baths Build scaffolding and other construction structures Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. vinyl, aluminum, cultured stone panels) according to measurements Skills Proven experience as a general laborer Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials Excellent understanding of general contracting techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.) Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Good knowledge of English Good understanding of basic math Good physical condition and endurance High school diploma Pay Based on level of experience
