This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds. As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting skilled tradespeople, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to high-quality construction outcomes. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials Support carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and caulking Mix and pour concrete using concrete mixers and concrete pumping equipment; perform concrete finishing and surface smoothing Install rebar, formwork, and other structural components following blueprint specifications and technical drawings Conduct masonry work such as bricklaying, stucco application, and tile laying to enhance building aesthetics and durability Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations; wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a construction environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued Basic mechanical knowledge including understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, concrete cutting, concrete pouring, and concrete finishing techniques Knowledge of various construction trades such as framing, masonry, drywall installation, flooring installation, and restoration work Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like concrete mixers or rebar benders is advantageous Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a clean, organized worksite This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills within the construction industry while contributing to impactful projects.
