$23-$25 / hr. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, skills Northeast Precast (NEP) is seeking dependable, hardworking Site Work Heavy Construction Laborers to support construction projects at various job sites. This is a hands-on position involving physical outdoor work, construction-site preparation, installation support, and general labor duties. Responsibilities Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation. Support the installation of precast concrete products, drainage systems, utilities, and other site-work materials. Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment. Use hand and power tools safely and properly. Assist equipment operators, foremen, and other crew members as directed. Perform digging, shoveling, raking, compacting, and cleanup duties. Set up barricades, cones, signs, and other work-zone safety equipment. Follow site plans, instructions, and established work procedures. Maintain a clean and safe job site. Follow all company safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous construction, site work, underground utility, concrete, excavation, or heavy labor experience is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and other changing conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, push, and pull for extended periods. Must be comfortable working around heavy construction equipment. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions. Ability to work effectively as part of a crew. Reliable transportation to the designated reporting location or job site is required. A valid driver's license is preferred. OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 a.m.- 4 p.m. This position requires a flexible schedule. Start times, end times, and daily hours may change based on project requirements and business needs. Saturdays, nighttime work, and occasional Sundays may be required. Overtime may be required based on operational needs. Travel to different job sites may be required.
