Firstech Environmental, Inc., a full-service environmental consulting and site remediation contractor based in Farmingdale, NJ since 1996, delivers responsive environmental solutions across New Jersey. We are adding a driven Environmental Site Remediation Crew Laborer to our team. Why Firstech? Established in 1996 with a reputation for responsive, quality work. Hands-on training, mentorship, and clear growth paths. Support to obtain your CDL after fifteen (15) months of full-time service. What you will tackle Prepare each jobsite: organize materials, tools, and equipment. Follow supervisor instructions to complete remediation tasks efficiently. Operate hand tools and equipment safely to dig, move, and compact soil. Clean and remove hazardous and non-hazardous debris. Assist craft workers, masons, and mechanical foremen as needed. Communicate proactively with company personnel to keep work moving. Wear required PPE (headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, respirator, protective clothing) and follow all safety rules when onsite, operating equipment, or driving. Train other Environmental Field Laborers on familiar tasks and learn new ones from coworkers. End-of-day cleanup and proper storage of tools and equipment. Credentials and physical expectations Valid, clean New Jersey driver's license (no points) and reliable transportation (required). CDL Class A is a plus; after 15 months full-time, we will help you train and obtain a CDL for company use. Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 100 pounds. Comfort working outdoors in varied weather conditions. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently. 40-hr
OSHA HAZWOPER
(or willingness to obtain) with 8-hr annual refresher.
Experience:
skilled entry level to labor (2 years); construction (1 year preferred).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Job Type:
Full-time Hourly pay: $24.00-$28.00, commensurate with experience
Overtime:
