Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you'll work hands-on with skilled tradespeople to support a variety of building projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. Your contribution will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction while contributing to meaningful infrastructure improvements. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support accurate execution of work Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete pumping, and finishing to create durable structures Support masonry, framing, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, roofing, and trim carpentry tasks as needed Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Conduct heavy lifting and assist with demolition or restoration projects while maintaining proper safety procedures Support excavation activities including concrete cutting and working with concrete mixers for various project needs Experience Prior construction experience or training in building trades such as carpentry or masonry is highly preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, pouring, and related techniques is advantageous Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely in a construction environment Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols is essential Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work on-site in various weather conditions for extended periods Embark on a rewarding career journey where your skills contribute directly to building communities!
