Job Description
Buckeye Masonry & Concrete LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Construction Laborer to join our team. We are based in Bucyrus, Ohio and perform residential, commercial/industrial, and restoration masonry work throughout the Central Ohio area. Start Immediately | Full-Time | Year-Round Work Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with general construction tasks
- Load, unload, carry, and organize construction materials
- Move tools, equipment, and supplies around the jobsite
- Perform digging, shoveling, sweeping, and general site preparation
- Set-up, maintain, and take down scaffolding and staging areas - not afraid of heights
- Safely use basic hand and power tools
- Assist with demolition, removal, and cleanup
- Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety rules
- Prepare and clean jobsites and work areas Qualifications
- Construction experience required
- Commercial/Industrial experience preferred, but not required
- Must be physically capable of performing masonry work - work with 50+ lbs all day
- Must have ability to bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
- Must be mentally fit and work well with the team
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be dependable and reliable to show up every day on time
- Must be willing to work an expected 8 hours per day Monday to Friday (day shift)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel up to approximately one hour to local jobsites
- Must be a citizen of the USA and authorized to work here $15-25 per hour (based on experience) | Paid weekly The candidate will receive a 1099 form and will be responsible for their own income taxes.
