Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Skilled Laborer to join our commercial facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across various building systems and interior spaces. Your expertise will ensure that our facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, providing a comfortable environment for occupants and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and customer service abilities in a dynamic setting. All work performed will be paid, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities Assist Skilled Trades Technicians with demo, framing support, trim, and general construction tasks Perform commercial tile work (floor/wall prep, setting, grouting) Assist with ceiling repairs and installations (grid, tiles, patching) Support basic electrical tasks (device replacement, fixture support, running wire under supervision) Support basic plumbing tasks (fixture replacement, minor repairs, supply/drain assistance) Jobsite cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup Operate hand and power tools safely Travel to regional job sites as needed Follow safety procedures and maintain a professional work environment Experience 1-3 years experience in construction, tile, ceilings, electrical, plumbing, or general skilled labor Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Travel availability for out-of-town projects Join us in maintaining high standards of facility excellence!
