Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials Support concrete pouring, finishing, and cutting activities, including working with concrete mixers and pumps Install rebar and assist with formwork construction to shape concrete structures according to blueprints and specifications Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately Perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety regulations on-site Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with construction workplace safety standards Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar laborer role is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous Familiarity with heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, or cutting tools is a plus Understanding of construction safety regulations and protocol adherence is essential for maintaining a safe work environment Hands-on experience with carpentry, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, or renovation work is beneficial Ability to perform tasks involving concrete finishing, rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete pumping demonstrates versatility in the field This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to build their career in construction.
