Full-Time About the Role Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a dependable and hardworking Restoration Laborer to join a disaster restoration team. In this role, you will work directly on residential and commercial loss sites, helping customers recover from water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm damage. This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows direction well, works safely, and is willing to step up when customers need immediate assistance. Restoration Laborer Responsibilities Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture monitoring at restoration sites. Assist with demolition and removal of damaged materials, including: Drywall Flooring Insulation Debris Assist with fire and smoke cleanup. Assist with content manipulation, pack-outs, and moving items as needed. Load, unload, and transport restoration equipment and materials. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced restoration technicians. Assist restoration technicians with various tasks throughout the restoration process. Respond to emergency restoration calls when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Restoration Laborer Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs. Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods. Comfortable working in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders. Reliable transportation. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency calls when needed. Must be able to pass a background check. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, physically capable, and willing to learn. Previous restoration experience is helpful but not required.
