Role:
Hardscape & Landscape Construction Crew Member (entry to experienced level) You'll work on residential and commercial job sites building hardscape features, installing landscape elements, operating light equipment, and assisting with site prep and cleanup.
Reports to:
Crew Lead / Project Manager Core principles Quality workmanship — do the job right the first time. Efficient— Work In a manner that makes the job go smother and quicker. Teamwork — reliable, respectful, and communicative on site. Professionalism — punctual, courteous, and client-facing when needed. Continuous improvement — willingness to learn and adopt best practices. Hard Work- Continue to work hard and grow yourself and company Key duties Lay pavers, construct retaining walls, steps, and concrete flatwork per plans and specifications.
Prepare job sites:
grading, compaction, base installation, drainage solutions.
Install landscape elements:
planting, mulch, edging, irrigation hookups, topsoil and sod. Install Full landscape renovations, new builds and yards installs. willing to Installing decks, covered structures and outdoor kitchens. Operate and maintain hand and light equipment (plate compactors, saws, small excavators, trucks/trailers). Measure, cut, and place materials; set elevations; check slopes and alignment. Follow safety procedures, maintain clean worksites, load/unload materials. Assist with material inventory, basic layout, and quality checks. Communicate progress and issues to crew lead; help train new crew members when needed. Qualifications Previous experience in hardscape, masonry, landscape installation, or general construction preferred but not required for entry-level roles. Comfortable with physical labor — lifting, bending, working outdoors in various weather. Ability to read basic plans, measure accurately, and follow instructions. Valid driver's license preferred; clean driving record a plus. Basic tool knowledge; willingness to learn equipment operation. Reliable, punctual, safety-minded, and a positive team attitude. Certifications (e.g., OSHA, equipment operation) are advantageous but not required. Work schedule & compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience; overtime when applicable. Full-time positions available.
Typical schedule:
Spring - Fall Mon-Friday, with some Saturdays We try and wrap up jobs by Thursday evening. However, we may work Friday's or Saturdays due to several reasons Including but not limited to, weather, longer jobs and more work to get through for the week. Winter Winter hours vary and are mostly dependent on snow/ice timing.
