JR Faulkner Excavation is a residential excavation company based in Bend, Oregon , and we are looking to add an experienced operator/laborer to our team immediately. We are seeking someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced jobsite environment. If you take pride in your work and can see what needs to be done without being micromanaged, we want to hear from you.

Qualified candidates must:

• Have experience operating large and/or small excavators, skidsteers, backhoes (and shovels!) on all types of job sites
• Install and lay underground utilities (sewer, power & communications, etc.)
• Ensure proper trench safety and installation standards
• Work closely with operators and crew members to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Have knowledge of materials, lasers, grading, and utilities
• Have the ability to read and understand plans
• Have experience with all types of excavation
• Have a current and valid driver's license - there are typically multiple jobsites within a work day
• Have the ability to travel out of town for work occasionally
• Be in good physical condition and able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Strong problem-solving skills and common sense - Ability to assess a job site, identify what needs to be done, and complete tasks without constant direction
• Dependable and punctual
