Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking reliable and skilled Laborers with a Class A CDL to join our team in the underground utilities industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, assist with mobilizing equipment to the jobsite, and working on a directional drill crew. We will provide on the job training for all aspects of horizontal directional drilling, including operating a drill rig. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations and requires working away from home Monday-Thursday/Friday. The work is generally inside a 5 hr radius of Conneaut Lake, PA Duties Operate and drive different types of trucks such as straight/tank trucks, vac trucks, and equipment trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Mobilize to jobsites. Load and unload equipment safely as required. Work as crew member on the job. Climb ladders to enter/exit excavations and climb on/off mix trucks and equipment Contribute to maintaining a clean jobsite, vehicles, and equipment. Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational efficiency. Skills Familiarity with various truck types and tag trailers. Safe driving history. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with management and crew. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) A or B is required with DOT physical card Must pass a DOT drug screening Will be subject to background check and motor vehicle record search.
