Job Description
Summary Join Nick Corcetti Contracting as a skilled laborer/equipment operator and be part of a team that values hard work, competitive pay, and hands-on experience in the construction industry. Full-time work is available immediately for the right candidate. Applicants should have some level of construction experience and access to reliable transportation. CDL is required . Must have clean driving record and be able to pass drug test. Monday-Friday with occasional overtime. Competitive pay based on experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Healthcare and Paid Time off available after completing probationary period. $20-$40 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities Utilize hand and power tools for various construction tasks Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations. The heavy equipment operator operates a variety of contractor equipment and trucks used in construction, maintenance and repair activities and performs a variety of tasks. An operator should be able to operate trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipment, materials, and supplies. Works and assists crew in digging ditches and trenches, hoisting material, moving material, and any related work asked of them. Operators must perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, clean equipment, and refer defects or repairs that need to be done to their supervisor.
