Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, hard-working and experienced individual to join our team as a Pipe Laborer . This person should be proficient in the installation of Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer and Waterline installation with minimal field training required. The Pipe Laborer is responsible for the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and waterline systems. Duties include preparing trenches, placing bedding, installing pipe and utility structures, checking line and grade, backfilling and compacting trenches, and using hand and power tools. This position works closely with the equipment operator and pipe foreman to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications while maintaining OSHA trench safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with installation of storm, sanitary, and water piping systems Use hand and power tools to cut, connect, and secure pipe Set pipe to proper grade and alignment Perform trench preparation, backfilling, and site cleanup Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks Follow all safety procedures and communicate effectively with crew and supervisors Load and unload materials as needed Assist in other general labor duties on the job site
Qualifications:
Prior experience in pipe work or utility installation Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed Your own transportation to and from the jobsite is required. Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork
Benefits:
Competitive pay based on experience - $30.00+ Typical work schedule of (4) 10 hour days and (1) 8 hour day. 401k with contribution matching, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance.
