Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Paving Laborer and be a vital part of creating durable, safe, and high-quality roadways and other paving projects. In this role, you will assist with various paving and roadway construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your hands-on work will involve handling materials and supporting the team in maintaining safety standards on busy construction sites. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and layout of paving projects, including site setup and traffic control for work zones Perform paving tasks using power tools and manual hand tools to lay asphalt or concrete according to project specifications Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and construction site safety standards Assist in road repair and other paving projects by working outdoors in various weather conditions Requirements Prior paving experience Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards Valid driver's license Pay Pay for this position will be based on experience Shift The standard shift for this position is Monday - Friday starting at 6:30 AM. The end of the shift will be dependent on daily job completion. Work Location Work locations will be dependent on the location of the daily project. The service area includes most of Western Pennsylvania. Crews will report to the home facility before travel.
