$26-$27 About the Position Xpert Chimney Sweep is looking for a reliable and hardworking Chimney & Construction Helper / Laborer to assist our field technicians with chimney, masonry, construction, and exterior home improvement projects throughout the area. Previous chimney experience is preferred but not required . We are willing to train the right person who has general construction, masonry, roofing, landscaping, demolition, or other hands-on trade experience. Responsibilities Assist technicians with chimney cleaning, repair, installation, and maintenance Assist with masonry, brick, concrete, and general construction work Load, unload, carry, and organize tools, equipment, and materials Assist with demolition and preparation work Set up and clean up job sites Assist with ladders, scaffolding, and other jobsite equipment as needed Follow instructions from the lead technician and work safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Travel to residential job sites throughout the service area Provide professional and respectful service while working at customers' homes Qualifications Previous construction, masonry, roofing, landscaping, HVAC, demolition, or general labor experience is a plus Chimney experience is a plus but not required Comfortable performing physically demanding work and lifting heavy equipment/materials Comfortable working outdoors and at heights Reliable, punctual, and dependable Able to follow directions and work well as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and perform hands-on work Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred/required Good communication and professional attitude What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, physically capable, and willing to learn . Trade experience is valuable, but reliability and a strong work ethic are equally important.
