Job Description:
Opening Summary DiverseGOV is hiring a Laborer to support a federal office location in Philadelphia, PA. This onsite role supports the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania with physical office support, material movement, supply handling, and conference room/office setup and cleanup. Role Laborer

  • onsite Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM Start Requirement Federal security screening and security waiver approval required before work begins Key Responsibilities Load and unload trucks and other conveyances; move supplies, furniture, equipment, files, and other materials to proper locations using hand trucks, carts, wheelbarrows, or similar equipment.
Move, arrange, and reposition heavy office furniture, equipment, supplies, files, and related materials throughout the facility as directed. Stack, store, bin, unpack, shelve, place, route, count, and stock materials, merchandise, and supplies in proper storage or operational locations. Collect refuse and salvageable materials and support orderly movement of materials within the worksite. Perform physical tasks to transport, load, unload, store, or move goods between stations or work areas. Perform conference room and office setup and cleanup tasks at the job site, including moving tables, chairs, supplies, and related equipment.
Requirements:
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a professional federal office environment. Able to safely perform physical work such as loading, unloading, lifting, moving, arranging, stocking, and transporting materials. Able to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and complete required background/security screening before beginning work. Able to obtain federal public trust clearance including federal background investigation including criminal, credit and drug screen. U.S. residency requirements apply. Compensation and Benefits This position is covered by the Service Contract Act (SCA) for wage determination applicable to the place of performance.
