Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our established excavation team. In this role, you will be essential in supporting daily operations by performing general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and operating heavy equipment. Applicant must have a strong work ethic, be punctual and have a good sense of self discipline. Attention to detail, ability to problem solve, working well with others, and good communication skills are all a must for this position. Prior experience is preferred but not required, we will train. Pay starts at $18/hour, or relevant to experience. Duties Arrive at main shop and drive to job sites as assigned with company vehicles. Dig around underground utilities and water lines by hand and by machine. Operate excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks to move materials about the construction sites. Drive company trucks to gather required materials for jobs such as plumbing, pipe, and electrical. Other tasks as assigned Skills Ability to operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and their usage Mechanical aptitude with understanding of basic vehicle and equipment knowledge Ability to withstand elements of nature Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts Valid drivers license required Must have or obtain a medical card CDL is not required but is a plus
