Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps to facilitate various tasks Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to support accurate execution of work Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to create durable structures Install metal studs, drywall, framing, siding, roofing, painting and flooring. Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor tasks safely while adhering to all workplace safety regulations Support the installation of concrete forms and perform concrete cutting and finishing for smooth surfaces Assist with renovation projects by performing carpentry, plastering, caulking, and other related tasks Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment for all team members Collaborate with team members on site to interpret construction plans and ensure quality workmanship Skills Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating tools and equipment safely and effectively Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills Experience with hardscape installation, concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and stucco application Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction specifications accurately Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and cutting tools Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence Skilled in installation of metal/wood stud framing, drywall installation, roofing installation, siding installation, flooring installation.
