RESPONSIBILITIES
(including authority)  Assist the Quality Control Foreman in implementing AISC and
SSPC QP3
standards and ensure that all products and processes meet quality requirements.  Conduct inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.  Ensure that all quality control documentation is complete and accurate, including reports, certificates, and test results.  Monitor and maintain calibration of inspection equipment and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.  Assist in identifying and resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions.  Assist in training production teams in quality control procedures and best practices.  Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.  Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow CPS HOUSTON's production, safety, and quality procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
a) High school diploma or equivalent. b) Some experience in quality control or industrial setting preferred. c) Knowledge of AISC and
SSPC QP3
standards. d) Familiarity with quality control procedures, protocols, and inspection techniques, but optional. e) Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and work order specifications. f) Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. g) Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with others. h) Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
