This position provides hands-on experience in land surveying, data collection, and general field operations. The ideal candidate is displays strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Duties Assist the Party Chief and Instrument Operator in all phases of field surveying, including boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys. Set up, transport, and maintain survey equipment such as tripods, prisms, data collectors, GNSS receivers, levels, and hand tools. Assist with staking, flagging, and marking control points, offsets, hubs, nails, lath, and paint marks per project requirements. Record field notes, sketches, and supplemental measurements as instructed, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Support traffic control and site safety procedures in accordance with company policies and local regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and equipment before, during, and after fieldwork. Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle survey equipment and materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Basic understanding of measurements, directions, and construction terminology preferred. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred, or willingness to learn for basic data review and coordination. Willingness to learn surveying methods, procedures, and field equipment operation. Valid driver's license required Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Pay:
