SCHEDULE

:

MONDAY - FRIDAY AND SATURDAY'S AS NEEDED

Duties Safely execute demolition activities on ships, docks, and port structures following established safety protocols and technical plans. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and power tools to dismantle vessels and port infrastructure efficiently. Use hand tools and power tools for precise removal of building materials, fixtures, and structural components. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints to ensure accurate demolition procedures. Conduct site inspections to identify hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain a secure work environment. Assist with the removal and disposal of debris, ensuring environmental regulations are followed during cleanup. Support other construction-related tasks such as window installation, door hanging, flooring installation, and remodeling projects as needed. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on demolition or related outdoor work environments. Familiarity with construction management principles, estimating, inspection, and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation safely and effectively. Knowledge of building construction materials including stucco, plastering, caulking, hardscaping, cabinetry, and flooring. Experience with electrical work or plumbing is a plus but not required. Ability to follow detailed safety protocols diligently and work efficiently in outdoor conditions. Strong communication skills with the ability to read technical plans and collaborate with team members effectively.
