Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a General Contractor Laborer, where your energy and dedication will drive the success of diverse building projects. In this role, you will be an essential part of the construction process, assisting with various tasks that ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Whether you're experienced in skilled trades or eager to learn, this position offers a vibrant environment to grow your skills and contribute to impactful construction endeavors. Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing work Support skilled tradespeople in tasks including plumbing, electrical work, roofing, masonry, and carpentry Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to aid in accurate project execution Perform concrete finishing, formwork setup, stucco application, and masonry work as needed Help with installation of doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, tile laying, glass installation, and other fixtures Operate heavy equipment under supervision for excavation or material transportation when required Conduct routine inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications Skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction tasks Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes Familiarity with construction inspection procedures and quality control measures Skills in various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), roofing, masonry, welding, plastering, and restoration Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Understanding of building codes and safety regulations on construction sites Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop a broad skill set across multiple facets of construction.
