Work requires heavy lifting and bending at times. All work is outdoor in both hot and cold elements. Crew is headquartered in Donna, TX. A pre employment drug screen must be passed and all employees are subject to random drug testing. A track laborer must comply will railroad rules and regulations, work safely while on duty to prevent accidents to others, property and themselves. Protective safety equipment including steel toe boots, safety glasses, reflective vest and gloves must be worn at all times. Work hours include straight time and overtime. Most work is Monday through Friday, but some weekend work may be required. Additional compensation includes paid vacation and 401K plan.
