Laborer - Heavy Civil Construction Position Summary The Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks supporting heavy civil construction operations, including roadway, bridge, drainage, excavation, utility, and concrete work. The Laborer assists skilled trades personnel and equipment operators while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform manual labor associated with heavy civil construction projects. Assist with excavation, grading, utility installation, concrete placement, and roadway construction. Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment. Clean and prepare job sites before, during, and after construction activities. Assist carpenters, operators, and concrete crews with daily operations. Install erosion control measures and traffic control devices as directed. Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely. Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions. Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous construction experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Reliable transportation and attendance. Knowledge of construction safety practices preferred. Ragle Inc.
