Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting with the construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of water/sewer distribution and utility infrastructure. This position performs manual labor, operates heavy equipment, and works in all-weather / elements. you will be part of a team that's biggest goal is to work safely, efficiently, and uphold our standard of quality and communication. Duties Respond to Emergencies. (This is an on call position) Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, hydrovacs, and skid steers to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. Repair and install water and sewer main lines, perform water and sewer taps for new construction, Install valves, pumps, Hydrants Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to equipment safety procedures. Drive commercial trucks for transporting materials, equipment, or personnel to and from job sites while complying with all commercial driving standards. Support site cleanup, material handling, and debris removal to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Requirements Experience in construction work or utility installation projects; familiarity with excavation and grading is highly preferred Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Valid driver's license with clean driving record with reliable transportation. Must be able to pass drug / alcohol screening. Must have high school diploma.
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
