Overview Join our dynamic team as an Equipment Operator/Laborer and be at the forefront of construction and utility projects! In this energetic role, you will operate heavy machinery, perform utility locating, and assist with excavation and grading tasks to ensure project success. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient work environment while supporting the construction process from start to finish. Duties Operate construction machinery including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, water trucks, and equipment to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations Assist with construction utility work by accurately locating underground utilities to prevent damage during excavation activities Support construction site activities by performing general labor tasks such as site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled tradespeople Follow all equipment safety procedures and federal safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to construction plans and timelines Skills Experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks in a construction setting Ability to perform construction grading, excavation, and utility locating with precision and attention to detail Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and water truck operation preferred Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures essential for maintaining a safe job site Construction site experience with familiarity in utility work, excavation techniques, and construction grading processes Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and following detailed instructions effectively Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
