This position involves working outdoors as part of a construction crew performing excavation support, conduit installation, concrete placement, backfilling, and general jobsite duties. The ideal candidate is hardworking, punctual, able to follow instructions, and comfortable performing physically demanding work in various weather and jobsite conditions. Primary Responsibilities Assist with constructing underground electrical duct banks. Prepare trenches and work areas for conduit installation. Install, align, space, and secure PVC conduit according to project plans. Install conduit spacers, chairs, supports, rebar, and grounding components. Help construct and set pull boxes. Assist with concrete pours, including placement, vibration, finishing, and cleanup. Perform trench backfilling, compaction, grading, and site restoration. Provide spotter assistance for excavators and skid steers. Hand-dig around existing utilities and other sensitive areas when required. Load, unload, stage, and organize tools and construction materials. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, orderly jobsite. Follow project drawings, measurements, crew-leader instructions, and established procedures. Comply with all company, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements. Wear all required personal protective equipment. Perform additional construction-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements. Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew. Willingness to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, mud, and dusty conditions. Ability to report to work consistently and on time. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts when required. Must have reliable transportation to assigned jobsites. Must be able to pass any required drug screening or background check. Underground utility, concrete, electrical, or general construction experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in trenches for extended periods. Ability to safely use shovels, compactors, concrete tools, and other hand or power tools. Ability to enter and exit trenches using approved access methods. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous underground electrical or utility construction experience. Experience installing PVC electrical conduit and duct-bank spacers. Familiarity with trench safety and underground utility markings. Experience assisting with concrete placement and finishing. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Trench safety, confined-space, CPR, or first-aid training. Experience operating compactors, pumps, saws, or other small construction equipment.

Pay:
