We are currently seeking able-bodied, reliable, skilled, highly motivated, and trustworthy individuals for full time Telecommunication Underground Fiber Construction, General Labor positions. Responsibilities and Duties Assists crew leaders with various underground construction tasks Operates various tools for the work (various manual digging devices, wrenches, hammers, come a long, jack hammer and hand line etc.) Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards Direct traffic Clean work area, construction crew trucks, tools and equipment Load and unload materials Follow construction plans and instructions from crew leaders or more experienced workers Work effectively as a team member Perform quality work within deadlines with or without supervision Perform all duties as assigned and in a safe manner Operate mini-excavator a plus Previous experience with locating utilities a plus Any other duties as required by the company Qualifications Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States Experience with underground utility construction preferred Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test Must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license- CDL a plus Must be able to lift 80 pounds frequently Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard eight or ten hour day. Must be able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies, including holidays, weekends, subject to call out work, etc. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions Ability to work occasional to frequent overtime depending on project or business need Must be able to travel Must be reliable
